Long time Northport High School teacher/baseball coach John DeMartini passed away on January 21st. 

Starting his teaching and coaching career in 1964, Coach "DeMar" was beloved by his students, players, fellow coaches, and  colleagues. He was the varsity baseball coach from 1984-2018.  He served as an assistant coach from 2019-2024. Hundreds of Larkfield-Northport little leaguers played for Coach "DeMar".
