TEE BALL age is determined by a players age of August 31 st of the current year. Players of league age 4 through 6 (Pre-K and Kindergarten) are eligible for Tee Ball Division. Tee Ball is a co-ed league and is recommended for first-time players. Tee Ball is played on a small grass field. The experience is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals while also being a key to growing a child’s love for the game. The Little League Tee Ball program provides volunteer coaches with everything they need to create an environment where players will learn the skills of the game, while having fun and staying active. Parents and legal guardians of Tee Ball players are crucial to the extension of the program, and their satisfaction is equally important to its success. The outreach and inclusion of this division sets the foundation for continued participation in the local Little League program.

For baseball divisions age is determined by a players age of August 31 st of the current year. The following are the divisions available along with league recommended age guidelines. Players of league age 5 through 10 years old are eligible for the Minor League. The Minor League has the following levels of play:

Majors is the highest level of play on the Little League sized field (46/60). Recommended age is 11-12 years old. This is a dual roster division with Intermediate, meaning age qualifying players are permitted to play in both Majors and Intermediate or Juniors during the same spring season. Playoffs and summer tournament teams may be available.

The intermediate league steps up to a larger 50/70 field. Recommended ages are 12-13 years old. This is a dual roster division with Majors, meaning age qualifying players are permitted to play in both Intermediate and Majors during the same spring season. Additionally, rules such as leading off, unrestricting stealing and on deck batters are introduced. This division may include interleague games against other local leagues. Playoffs and summer tournament teams may be available.

The Juniors league steps up to a full size (60/90) baseball field. Recommended ages are 13-14 years old. This is a dual roster division with Majors, meaning age qualifying players are permitted to play in both Juniors and Majors during the same spring season. This division will include interleague games against other local leagues. Playoffs and summer tournament teams may be available.

The Seniors league uses a conventional (60/90) baseball field. Recommended ages are 15-16 years old. This is the highest division in the Little League program. This division will include interleague games against other local leagues. Playoffs and summer tournament teams may be available.Larkfield-Northport Little League was founded in 1952.
