2026 Scholarships

Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded (2 for baseball and 2 for softball) to college-bound seniors who played baseball or softball for Larkfield-Northport Little League for a minimum of 5 years/seasons. Additionally, one $1,500 scholarship will be awarded in memory of Paul Kutz to the top essay. Established in memory of Paul Kutz, a devoted coach and loving father, this scholarship supports young athletes in their educational and athletic pursuits. Applicants must submit an essay of 500 words or less on the following topic: "How teamwork, leadership, and good sportsmanship learned from your Larkfield-Northport Little League/Softball experience will help shape you as a future leader and role model in society." Academic merit and community service will also be considered in addition to the essay.

Awards to be presented at the 2025-2026 Northport High School Extra-Curricular Awards Ceremony. 

Note: Only eligible Northport High School Seniors are considered for these scholarships. Scholarship eligibility and submissions are conducted by Northport High School's guidance counselors office. Please speak with your guidance counselor for more information.
